The application currently boasts 600,000 users between the ages of 34 and 49. Notably, women today are more likely to have extramarital affairs at the workplace, a phenomenon that I personally view as both cheating and disloyalty. However, it is important to recognize that everyone has their own priorities and preferences. Data from reliable sources reveals that over 77% of women engage in office or workplace-related affairs after marriage due to the monotonous nature of their married lives.

Statistics published by the Economic Times indicate that the majority of disloyal women are found in metropolitan cities like Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kolkata. More than 77% of Indian women cheat on their partners due to the boredom they experience in their regular married lives. Surprisingly, almost 57% of men and 52% of women have betrayed their spouses and engaged in extramarital affairs during business outings.

Following the decriminalization of same-sex affairs after the elimination of Section 377 by the Supreme Court of India, there has been a 45% increase in extramarital affairs among married individuals with same-sex partners. Additionally, almost 31% of women admit to having cheated on their partners with one of their neighbors.

One of the key factors driving women towards extramarital affairs is suppressed sexual needs. P.V. Vaidyanathan, an author and counselor, emphasizes the importance of honoring and addressing women’s physical needs, as they are more willing than ever to discuss them openly. Many women find their sexual needs neglected in their marriages, with intimate encounters occurring only when their husbands are interested. This leads to discontentment and frustration, ultimately driving women towards office affairs.

The increasing prevalence of domestic violence and negativity within households can also contribute to depression among women. To seek love, respect, and emotional or physical support, many women turn to men in their workplaces. It provides them with a sense of fulfillment and a reprieve from the challenges they face at home.

Irresistible desires can also prompt women in otherwise happy relationships to seek satisfaction from other men. These women do not fit the mold of being exclusively committed to one partner, instead seeking multiple connections. Surprisingly, more than 40% of women compromise with their office managers, engaging in extramarital affairs in exchange for promotions. This becomes a tempting shortcut to match their husbands’ income and live the life they desire.

Boredom within a marriage can diminish the interest and attraction towards a romantic partner. As the spark fades, married women often search for excitement and romance in relationships with their office colleagues.

The pressure and stress of living in metropolitan cities, with increased expenses, can further push women towards extramarital affairs. Studies suggest that it becomes an escape from reality, while also helping them establish rapport within the office to secure their long-term career prospects.

Lack of attention from their husbands can leave wives feeling unloved and unwanted. When these feelings of neglect and worthlessness reach a tipping point, women may seek attention and fulfillment from a third party in their workplace.
